BIO

My name is Connor McCloskey. I was born in Colorado during the December of 1994. I grew up between Littleton and Lakewood, in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. It was here that I fostered my love for storytelling and nature while developing my devilish good looks and masterful sense of comedy.

I've been writing and telling stories my entire life. No, really! I started out writing and illustrating my own picture books in kindergarten and torturing my classmates when my teacher let me read them aloud. These days I inflict myself on my audience through game development and through the occasional published piece of prose or poetry.

In 2017 I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in English. I primarily studied game narrative and wrote Twine games whenever I could get away with it. My thesis, Insight, was a feature-length speculative game script. I also graduated with minors in Psychology and Multidisciplinary Research Methods, and took a swathe of game design and programming courses while there. In January 2020, I returned to school at Red Rocks Community College to pursue an associate degree in game development, while also working as a hospital administrator and residency program coordinator. In 2021 I left the healthcare industry to join Bolder Games, where I worked in QA briefly before becoming a project manager, narrative designer, writer and developer. Most recently, I was graced to work with Walt Disney Imagineering!

With all this juggling, you’d think I was a circus performer!

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, bowling, gaming (duh), caring for my cat and writing to a good soundtrack or rock album. I also collect dragon statues and anything Mass Effect related.
